KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - JULY 2023 - ViTrox has again achieved a key acknowledgement as one of the Best Managed Companies in 2023. This is a continuous recognition as ViTrox received the award last year. The award programme, initiated by Deloitte, recognises top Malaysian private companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, with an annual revenue of at least USD50 million, for their organisational success and achievement.

During the panel session on 13 July 2023, Chu explained how ViTrox plays a role in building up skills whilst creating opportunities for the other industry players. Some initiatives include internal skill development, the establishment of ViTrox Academy and ViTrox College, and The ViTrox Experience where the management team, including Chu, spends four days every quarter to share ViTrox’s 21-year experience with local SMEs.
“I think Malaysia can only go far if we have a strong and healthy ecosystem,” said Chu. “It’s just a small beginning but we believe that by doing these, we will be able to move up the entire tech value chain.”
The Best Managed Companies programme is an initiative of Deloitte Private, a global provider of consulting and financial advisory services. The internationally-recognised programme evaluates businesses based on four pillars: strategy and quality management, capabilities and innovation, culture and commitment, as well as governance and financials.
