PENANG, MALAYSIA - August 2024 ViTrox has been recognised with the “Leadership in Smart Manufacturing Award” at the Malaysia Smart Manufacturing Awards (MSMA) 2023. This prestigious award acknowledges ViTrox’s outstanding achievements in embracing Industry 4.0 technologies and practices, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and excellence in the manufacturing sector.
The MSMA, co-organised by the Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF), Bizsphere and Smart4wrd, and endorsed by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), is the premier award in Malaysia for smart manufacturing. It celebrates the dedication of organisations driving advancements in the manufacturing industry, particularly those that excel in the adoption of smart technologies.
ViTrox was evaluated through a rigorous three-level judging process based on three key criteria: Performance of Adoption, Company-wide Involvement and Industry 4.0 as a Business Strategy. This comprehensive assessment underscores ViTrox’s holistic approach to smart manufacturing, integrating advanced technologies across all facets of the organisation to drive productivity, efficiency and sustainability.
The award event featured a trophy crafted from PolyTerra PLA, a sustainable bioplastic-based 3D printing filament. This eco-friendly choice reflects the shared commitment of MSMA and ViTrox to environmental sustainability and innovative practices.
