10th February 2022 - ViTrox contributes to nurturing future talent

PENANG, MALAYSIA - 05 FEBRUARY 2022 - To support future local talent youths to further their studies, ViTrox made a contribution of RM60,000 to the Penang Future Foundation.

Penang Future Foundation (PFF) is an initiative by the state government. The initiative supports deserving and outstanding students to pursue their tertiary education in public and private universities by granting scholarship awards. Since the establishment of PFF, a total of 655 students have received scholarship awards in a diverse range of fields. These fields include science, technology, engineering, mathematics, accountancy and finance.

ViTrox’s president and CEO Chu Jenn Weng always emphasised the importance of local talent. “Young talent is the hope for our nation and education is the hope for our talents. Hence, let’s continue to support education to make an impact on our nation,” said Chu.

This year, ViTrox and seven other donors have each contributed RM60,000 to PFF at the event on 5 February 2022, making it a total of RM480,000.
