On behalf of the Board of Directors of ViTrox and further to the announcement on Second Quarterly Results for the period from April 1, 2006 to June 30, 2006 made on August 22, 2006, we wish to clarify that the results for the corresponding preceding second quarter ended June 30, 2005 and cumulative half-year period up to June 30, 2005 included an exceptional item, being the one-time charge of negative goodwill of RM4.9 million, arising from the formation of ViTrox Group on June 15, 2005. Please be advised that there is no change in figures in the results announcement made on August 22, 2006.
