We refer to our announcements dated 30 April 2009 and 5 May 2009 and the letter of query from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad dated 8 May 2009 requesting the Company to provide the following additional information in relation to the Contract:-
1. The Value of the Contract
Further to the Master Services Agreement (“MSA”) and the Confidential Information Clause stated therein, ViTrox wishes to explain that it is bound by a non-disclosure clause which stated that parties to the MSA are not to disclose any financial information of the contract to the Public. Nevertheless, ViTrox wishes to inform that the mode of billing would be carried out from time to time based on customers’ work outsourced to ViTrox by Agilent Technologies covering the product families as below:
a. Agilent Medalist x6000 AXI
b. Agilent Medalist sj5000 and SP50 AOI
2. The Financial Effects of the Contract on ViTrox Group
The Contract will not have any financial effects on the share capital, net assets per share, gearing, substantial shareholders’ shareholdings but is expected to contribute positively on the earnings of ViTrox Group.
