ViTrox was incorporated in Malaysia as a private limited company on 22^nd April 2004 under The Company Act 1965 under the name of ViTrox Corporation Sdn Bhd. On 24^th June 2004, ViTrox converted into a public limited company and adopted the name of ViTrox Corporation Berhad.

The entire 155,000,000 shares of RM0.10 each of ViTrox were listed on the MESDAQ Market of Bursa Securities on 12^th September 2005.

The principal activities of ViTrox are investment holding and engaging in research and development of machine vision products. For FYE 2005, ViTrox's subsidiary being ViTrox Technologies Sdn Bhd, which is principally, involved in the development and production of automated vision inspection systems.

Subsequent to FYE2005, ViTrox has acquired and/or established a further three (3) more wholly owned subsidiaries. They are ViTrox International Sdn Bhd and its intended activity is investment holding; ViTrox Technologies (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. and its intended principal activities are Sales and Support Office in Suzhou Industrial Park, PRC; ViE Technologies Sdn Bhd and its intended principal activities are research, development and manufacture of System-On-Chip Electronics devices for machine vision and factory automation.
