| The new 5S Pin 1 /Marking inspection feature is to enhance your SLP, QFN and MLP inspections by adding an extra precaution check to your machine vision systems.
This new feature works by detecting any possible engraving mistakes during assembling process and at the same time improve your vision applications where 2D tools are not enough.

Occasionally, during assembling process, the top markings can be mistakenly engraved on an IC device which does not match the bottom pad.
2D vision inspections checks only the top marking and any unsynchronizations with the bottom pad can sometimes be dismissed by 2D check.
By incorporating orientation check on bottom package in 5S vision, we are eliminating these problem and reduce possible marking engraving mistakes during assembling process.
